About Us - Don is the 4th generation farmer, originally from Cambria County. His family started as dairy farmers and transitioned to beef in the 1980’s. Don moved his
family and cattle to Somerset county in 2001, but continues to farm in both counties along with his son’s and nephews.
Bloom’s Family Farm has been selling beef to loyal customers since that time and operate a fresh vegetable and sweet corn stand on the farm. A high tunnel has been added this year. Our goal is to bring food to the farmers’ market as fresh as we feed our family. We hope to add some unique items to the market such as Chocolate Peppers.
