About Us - The Weaver family has been in agriculture for over 200 years. In 1835 Grandpa and Grandma built the barn as the first building on our farm and lived in the barn for one year before building their farm house. Dairy farming became their mainstay with naturally grown freezer beef and sweet corn as a quality product on the side. We have had a sweet corn stand at the farm since the early 1960's. In the fall of 2004 we retired the dairy cows and expanded the farm stand with some vegetables. In 2006 we added raspberries and a high tunnel to lengthen our marketing season. We also joined the Somerset County Farmers Market in 2006 for our first time off the farm marketing experience. In the year of 2007 we added strawberries. We planted blueberries in the spring of 2008 and asparagus around 2012. We enjoy continuing to grow and expand our products while providing fresh produce for our community. Our home market in Windber is open Monday thru Saturday.
PRODUCE- Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, sweet corn, lettuce, green beans, yellow beans, cucumbers, pickles, zucchini, onions, tomatoes (red and yellow), peppers.
BEEF-naturally grass fed, various steaks, roasts, ground beef, premade ¼ lb. patties, beef sticks
