Somerset County Farmers’ Market is a producer-only tailgate market located at Georgian Place in Somerset PA. The Market is going into it's 8th year of operation and currently has 28 vendors.
The market opens May 25 th through October 26th on Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1p.m. and on Wednesdays from 3-6 p.m. starting in June 12th and ending October 9th. The Market moves in doors atthe Georgian Place November 2, 9 and 16. All goods sold at the market are produced in Somerset and adjoining PA counties.Somerset County Farmers’ Market offers freshness, high quality farm goods, reasonable prices, and convenience while supporting local farmers who can ensure the best handling and preparation techniques. Our farmers are proud of the “fruits of their labors” and are willing to offer free advice and answer any questions you may have about their products.
FMNP & SFMNP Farmers Market Nutritional Program & Seniors Farmers Market Nutritional Program The WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provide WIC recipients and eligible seniors with resources in the form of fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from approved farmers' markets in Pennsylvania. The purpose of the FMNP and SFMNP is to increase the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables with low income seniors and WIC recipients, and to expand the awareness, use of and sales at farmer's markets.
